Ben's Coupe - Mecum Kissimmee

For those that didn't see it, here you go time 7:28.50ish. Looks like it hammered for $55,000. So then add 10% premium which I do not believe SCCA gets any of that unless Mercum waived their fee. Also, there is a charge to sell car that SCCA would normally pay. Again, not sure if Mercum waived that as well.

 
My point was that the SCCA normally doesn't get any of that, plus they had to pay to sell it. Normally these kind of sales are hyped up a lot more. IMO they did a poor job of the placement of this vehicle and the sales pitch. Could have gone for more if they would have done a better job.

I believe that the SCCA and Mecum probably did a no sellers premium due to the type of transaction ( donation to an automotive organization). The buyer probably paid a premium and is trying to make money on the deal.
