Conventional wisdom says low pressure is all that is needed. If you're running BFGs they are big enough for pickup trucks, so for a 2500 lb car 25 psi is all that is needed. and the ride is a little smoother. If you're running the Billboards, pressure should be higher.

On the road, I ran 28# front 26# rear with Billboards to minimize the hunting and so far am happy with 26# front 24# rear with Avons. For autocross I ran 20# all around.
