Annual(ish) contribution drive

The bad news is I pre-paid for 3 years service. I guess that's actually good news, but it means the coffers are dry.

As a reminder, and to help the newcomers, we ask for some contributions every so often to pay for the cost of the site. This is both hosting and software costs. It doesn't take a lot to run this place, but it is an ongoing expense. If you send a contribution our way you'll get exclusive access to the "Contributing Member" tag! This is displayed under your avatar on every post you make!

Scott, are we actually having a contribution drive or is this just the sheep following the guy who dug up an ancient post.
 
Sheep is a little harsh. I didn’t kick off a new “drive”, but the contributions are always welcome. No one should feel like it’s a requirement. I have enough to cover some upcoming costs later this year, so don’t feel like you have to.
