I finally heard from Craig Mogus early this week. He is getting ready to sell Jack's cars. I have no idea what he is asking for them. But Jack did leave him information regarding insured value and distressed value. He was surprised that any CACC members would be interested.

As a way to move forward, if you are interested in any of the cars, please let me know. I personally have no interest in this other than to help Craig sell them for a fair price. (Jack had asked me to do this before he passed.)

The cars are as follows: (If you have more info on these, please post.)

ERA GT40 Navy blue with English white stripes, 302 engine
ERA Cobra 427 S/C Navy Blue with white stripes, 427 Side-oiler, manual trans (4 or 5 speed?)
Excaliber Cobra, Black with hardtop, Mustang 302, Auto, A/C
Mazda Miata, Italia rebody, with supercharger Black, gold stripes 5 speed

I'm sure Jack kept extensive records on the cars, so if interested I'm sure Craig will let us review them.I'm pretty sure they all need some TLC at this point.

I'm trying to find out if the cars have been transferred out of Jack's name. He's in no hurry to sell them, but he did indicate he would give Jack's CACC friends first crack at them.

Please post your interest (for yourself or friends).

Stay tuned for further info as I receive it.

Those prices were for cars that appeared to be in almost show condition ... with no work really needed to get them on the road.

Scott: Are they going to be available for inspection?

Thanks,

Carl

I'm sure you will be able to inspect them. Craig has not yet transferred the titles to his name.
But if there is interest in looking at the cars, LMK and I'll try to set up something on a weekend.

Update:

Just heard from Craig Mogus. He has the cars re-registered and he will be at Jack's Town house next Friday-Saturday and Sunday (March 2-3-4). If you are interested in viewing the cars, this would be an opportune time.

His address is:
811 Valemount Terrace NE
Leesburg, VA 20176

Craig Mogus can be reached on his cell phone @703.989.1953

Craig is also interested in selling Jack's 4 post Lift. (After he gets the cars out of the garage of course.) I'm not sure of the make or model, but it's older and better than the Greg Smith's current lifts. You should check it out for yourself.
