Cobra Cruise

I think it is time to start thinking about a Cobra Cruise. We need to put some mile on the bricks sitting in our garages

We had a suggestion a while back that we cruise to the Marine Corp. Museum on back roads.

I was thinking the end of April, first of May. We can start putting together the route and timeline.

We could also rerun the cruise we did to WVA a while back with a change or two. I know a lot of people missed that one because they were afraid, they would get wet. (Your Loss). It was an enjoyable day!

If anyone has another suggestion, please do so.

I was beginning to think no one wants to drive their cobras or no one is on the forum any more.

Took our youngest out for a ride last night! It's been too long since I last saw you hooligans. I'm all for it!

I'm in. The WV trip was great fun, and yes...........we got to try out the wiper on the way home to Hamilton.

I am in the works of making one right now Prez. It will probably be a bit different than our regular cruises and more complicated.
I have been in conversation with a small group from Hagerstown, Southern Maryland, Stafford and mid-Virginia that own Cobras and some HotRods. I want to get with Troy first since he and I have already talked.
However, there are 3-4 people that I know of that have their cars being worked on or being built at this time. So I’m hoping that by the time they are completed I (we) will have something by mid-May… hopefully!
A resturant has already been selected and will not be a disappointment with the quality of food and atmosphere. Every visit I’ve been trying different foods and never been disappointed. It doesn’t serve alcoholic beverages but maybe a winery can be added. The only setback is that it’s in a high traffic region and about 15 traffic lights to get there. Unless we take detours, which is possible.

Dan,
Thanks for doing this. We are having a family issue that has been taking a lot Paige & I's time. I have not been able to followup on this.
That sounds great. Do you have a time frame?

Ripper,
No time frame has been determined but I would like to get it when the temps and humidity are at it’s nicest. I want to get with my Virginia counterpart first to see if this is feasible and address the issues I have questions about.
Timing is part of the conversation with a few people who are not apart of the club and arranging to meet and greet others from outside the metro area will be tricky. And hopefully gain more members… well that’s the plan anyway.

Update:
Troy and I met up last Saturday to discussed several things for the cruise we are conjuring up. We have a lot more to figure out and fine tune. We’re looking at early June.
More to come soon…

Dan, Hope you mean "early June", from the 1st of June to June 18th. I have to go to Miami to my aunt's funeral, leaving on the 20th, returning on the 23rd of June. And thank you and Troy for planning this, if the date is within my open schedule, I'm looking forward to it.

There is something F'd up with my account. . I am unable to see any post on my PC or cell phone from Kevin Moses which includes the start of this thread and his response on March 24. But only when I'm logged into the forum. If I log out, I can see it.
