Elder's Wild Ride!!!!

And to think this whole thing may never have happened if the car weighed a hundred pounds or so less (as in SB)...

Karen was laughing her butt off, then when she read Tom's comments, she busted out again saying, "oh god, he was in his car? in the trailer?"

Aluminum heads + intake = approximate weight of a cast iron TB

Of course this whole thing gives new meaning to the term "Gettin' Hitched!"

Scott, glad to hear you weren't injured (other than pride)! Thanks for supplying fodder for great stories for years to come!

I'M SPEACHLESS - - - - UTTERLY SPEACHLESS - - - - PROBABLY BECAUSE I'M LAUGHING SO DAMN HARD.

ELDERS LAST WORDS TO HELEN BEFORE INITIATING THIS ADVENTURE WERE: "HEY - HOLD MY GLASS OF WHITE WINE AND WATCH THIS".

Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY.

(This post actually from Alli-Cat --- the lower case should have given that away!)

One thing I appreciate about CACC is that when one of the gang is in trouble you can count on other CACC members running in to help. The only exception to that is when they first run to get a camera to document the self inflicted misfortune. Congratulations to Helen for having the foresight, perspective, and cunning to run for the camera even before the trailer stopped rolling. (Girls rule!)

Perhaps we should call him - Franz. After the great Franz Klammer, the most out-of-control downhill skier in the history of the sport!

Just one more day until Elder gets back to his computer to respond to all of this. If you have anything else to add before he uses his incredible moderator powers  to retaliate and clean-up this thread, say it now while you can :!:

P.S. Elder, before you think of an appropriate way to reply to me, I just want to remind you that I already fixed your fence :!: :p

Did you put hinges on the rails this time? 8)

Did you incorporate the "Soft Wall" technology that NASCAR is using into the fence or did you install 5MPH bumpers on the trailer....

Hey Elder - it might not be a bad idea to put a secondary trailer brake controller on the inside wall of the trailer...you know...within easy reach from the driver's seat of the Cobra.
