Help With VA DMV Registration Process

So, the fix for the pain in the a$$ $39 license plate holder is to upgrade to a car that costs more than $100K more than my car... Seems reasonable to me :D
 
I agree ... I don't know why they have not fixed this well known issue ... there is a fix on the FFR forums which involves modifying the light ... basically reconfiguring the inside and cutting a groove in the clear plastic. Since I was modifying mine for LED lights it was not really that big a deal.
 
I had heard a long time ago that FFR got their body mold from an original Cobra.
Apparently this was not the case.
 
I believe the mold for the FFR MkIV is derived from an original Cobra (Dick Smith's car). I have no idea where the earlier versions came from. The MkIII is the last year of the perky butt and the radius of the front wheel wells were not correct, ugh. I think they are on the Mk IVs. As for the license plate to fit, it worked fine for my MkIII. Is it the placement of the latch, light, or both not correct?
 
I finally got my registration for my Porsche 550 Spyder from Richmond today, after seven weeks of waiting!! Then I went to my local DMV, at Tysons, Va. waited in line for about 45 minutes, then I was send to the Plates window and had to wait thirty more minutes, only to be send to a third window. This third window was being attended by the biggest "fruit cake" I have ever seen. After paying the $50 fee for the "antique plates", the "fruit cake" could not find any "antique plate" anywhere, finally, after waiting another 45 minutes, the stupid ass fruit cake, finds the antique plates at the first window I started from. What a circus???!!!
Finally, I did get my "ANTIQUE PLATES"!!!!
 
Oh yeah, I did get my antique plates, just read one of my two previous threads, it'll give you the whole story.

YO Scott, I just don't know how to erase one of the above treads. Go ahead, do it for me.
