U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Proposes to Expand the Sale of E-15 Gasoline

The EPA issued a proposed regulation that would allow gas stations around the country to sell E15 (gasoline that’s 15% ethanol) during the summer months (June 1 through September 15). If finalized, the EPA would overturn its long-standing prohibition on the sale of E15 during high-ozone season by allowing the fuel to use the 1 pound per square inch (psi) Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) waiver, which currently allows E10 sales during the summer months. The EPA’s effort to allow year-round E15 sales would expand the number of gas stations selling gasoline blended with higher amounts of ethanol.

We are starting to see more gas stations with ethanol free gas around here..that will help... Does anyone know what it would take for our cars to use E85??? I use it in my Chevy pick up and works fine, smells good also when you first start it up, cops would think you were drinking if they smelled it..
So, all you motor heads lets hear about what would be needed to switch fuel..

So after a little looking around it's doable: Plastic fuel tank, new and better hoses, new fuel pump, and for you carb guys a new E85 carb.. for efi a fuel tank, better hoses, fuel pump, and a add on injector controller, maybe. So you Big block guys getting 8-12 MPG you would loose 30% off those numbers, but you will have higher octane fuel... so sleep better now....
