Ken,
1 - are you assuming we will sit on the NAF side and watch the airshow or
2 - is there a way to get to the other side where the displays and food are?
3 - if we were to stay on the NAF side, could we perhaps have a cooler in the trunk?

We likely won't caravan.

Thanks for setting this up.

Scott,

By the looks of the weather forecast for tomorrow, it is unlikely that I will be taking the cobra. We'll meet you at the VI if weather remains as forcasted. If it worsens, we will bail. We have been to the air show there before with low clouds, Blue Angels and Thunderbirds cancelled their show. They had cut the air show to a few flybys and that was it. Spend most of the time with the static displays.

Thanks Ken for organizing the special access! That was a great show.

Sorry we missed the meeting point at the VI, arrived at 8:35 and left around 8:45.
Saw one Cobra parked but figured the convoy may have already left.

Return trip was a nightmare and got under heavy rain.... still got thumbs up on the road though :)
Oh and one middle finger on the way in... but hey can’t please everybody lol

We ended up watching the Blues from the Navy side to avoid the rush and got several low altitude flyovers O0

Franck, i guess you parked on ramp vice the Navy Airops parking lot where we were. The Navy guys were nice enough to let us on the base and use their facilities, especially the heads O0

Excellent show. The weather turned out to be fine. Only a light sprinkle around 430 as we were leaving. Lots of rain on the way back. No day for a Cobra cruise.
Thanks again to Ken for getting us on the Base parking. It would have taken hours to get out of FedEx field.
