Very true. @Hector Rodriguez : I agree with @Mike Holt . Best thing to do is to get an instructor. These days you can connect two transmitters together and the instructor can simply pass control back and forth as needed. It is the way to go. I think you can get a cord long enough to stay 6 feet apart. If you can't find an instructor let me know, I might be able to help out. I taught my neighbor to fly that way. We used to fly electric planes at the local middle school.

With the new radios, there’s no cord involved. They connect wirelessly.
