It has been four years since we lost Wade. Sometimes you remember people for their personality. Others you remember them for their accomplishments. And others are remembered for their acts of kindness. Wade is remembered for all of these things and then some! Find a microbrew today and raise it in his honor. Miss you very much!!!

Was a great guy wish I had known him longer

He will always be missed. Huggy, thanks for posting this thread. I will certainly raise a beer in his honor.

I was reminiscing about Wade and our many outrageous weekends in Cumberland with Wade today with Maggie and she had a fantastic idea. When the Covid stuff is over and we can all attempt to get back to normal living, we should get together in Cumberland for a Wade Chamberlain Memorial weekend like we used to do. I realize that we won't be able to autocross, but we can stay at the Best Western, have dinner and raise a few (or a lot) at Henneys. We can invite Dave Williams and any other autocross's we know and just have a fun time. Just a thought!!!!!!

I was just cleaning up my shop last night and came across a 22XP sticker. I was a couple of pops in, and teared up thinking about Wade.

 1st person I met in the club. Came to Delaware to check out my build and the Punkin Chunk! Talking Cobra's, watching pumpkins fly, and drinking beer. Good times I will never forget.

This is the Phat Tire clone we made last summer in an OBX microbrewery glass. Toasted it to Wade yesterday. I think he would have been pretty happy about that.

I met Wade at dinos 2 day build in florida before we both had cobras. I was teamed up with him on the motor and tranny install and then the dash build. it was the beginning of a long friendship. Wade helped me finish my cobra when I was recuperating from a deadly illness. He drove up to my house in a snow storm and pulled up wearing his goggles, snorkel, and a scarf and hat. His cobra looked gray from the salt splashes all over the side. I think that all of us that knew Wade, have a little bit of Wade inside of us forever.
