After 6 months (no kidding) finally received my special order Mustang GT. Ford shut the plant down for 3 weeks for steering wheel supplier strike, then parked 8,000 mustangs with no steering wheels. Then the train broke down for a week enroute and it took 4 days to truck 50miles to dealer. Its going to take a while to learn how all the driving modes work, especially since it controls dash display, steering, traction control, ride, engine response, transmission, and exhaust. They have normal, sport, track and drag strip. Drag strip has burnout and launch control options :burnout:

I ordered 10speed auto with paddle shifters, performance pack, electric shocks, and active exhaust. They finally put some better tires on these as well, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. This actually feel faster on the street than my 650hp 2013 GT did!

OBTW Installed first mod to car, same day O0

It was only suppose to take 8-10 weeks and i, like you have too many cars already. WRT wheels already have a few options and couldn't see paying an additonal $795 for those wheels after paying $3995 for performance pac. Also, i want wider wheels in rear.

I enjoyed my 2012 Mustang GT Premium with Brembo pack / Manual everyday for 7 years... 85,000 miles with it.
It's a great car and I really love it..... unfortunately it will leave Wednesday to a new owner.

On the other hand the tires which came with it (Pirelli PZero) were crap, I quickly changed to All Season Michelin.

If I didn't get this amazing deal on my new Volt, I would have bought a new Mustang GT with the 10 speed gearbox like you did!

Edit for Scott: Look at what we will be able to rent soon:

A bit pricey yes, if I remember correctly, I rented a nice Corvette last year for less.
It all depend what they have on the lot and what period you're renting it, you sometime gets great deals.

Mmns Mine's only $26/day for 5 years of O0

What's your problem? OBTW first mod was to get rid of the stupid prop rod ! Still waiting for Ford to qualify the performance tune with GOV :coolsmiley:

I bought mine, and over the 7 years of ownership, the car didn't cost much, devaluation was pretty good and maintenance was low.
So if this not a lease, your cost will be actually way lower than that :)

Thanks for fixing you spelling f up!:knuppel2:

Yup first mod I did. Car delivered 3 years ago today....with ugly ass black wheels (the only choice you had in '15 with the PP option)...

Ok, we need a vote here...which wheels look better on the Mustang?

Also, do you prefer the 2105 front end or the 2019 version?
