Spring Cruise

I'd like to suggest a Spring Cruise. Meet at Bob Evans in Leesburg for breakfast, then hit the road, across Whites Ferry, to Poolesville, Point of Rocks, Harpers Ferry (pee Break), Antietam to almost Braddock Heights (Frederick MD) for a stop at a pub, then off home. 90 miles t the pub and a total of 114 miles back to Leesburg.

Takes us through some historic county and some great scenery.Plus the Cobras cruising through Harpers Ferry would surely wake John Brown.

Brian,
I like your idea. Different than the VA routes we've done in the past. Is White's Ferry doable on a weekend for bunch of Cars?
We did a cruise to Harpers Ferry years ago and had lunch at the Hilltop House (now closed). And there are a bunch of Pubs in Frederick.

Need to set some dates, complete a recon of the route and make lunch reservations.

I recommend May 12th or 26th.

I drove the route yesterday, approximately 115 miles from Leesburg and back, I'll post the route and map later. The one restaurant I was hoping to have lunch at is closed. I will post the second choice along with a menu.

Looking at April 28th with rain date May 5th, We could meet at Bob Evans Leesburg at 8:00 AM for those wanting breakfast and leave the parking lot at 9:00 AM.

Barb reminded me that a few years ago I took the Cobra over the ferry with no issues. I'll do this again before the scheduled date.
