Another opportunity to get your your on track. These Colonial Cup Events are among my favorites. Very casual and informal...

About Track Day
CCC Track Day is a charity event organized by the Colonial Challenge Cup Inc, a 501 (c) (3), and provides the opportunity for you to bring your car to a racetrack and learn your real capabilities as a driver in a controlled environment under the tutelage of experienced instructors. You may think that you are a good driver; but by the end of the day, you will know the real truth! Without the restrictions of everyday traffic and standard road obstacles like the police, Sunday drivers and mini-vans, you will drive your own car (or a rental track car) on a racetrack for four twenty minute sessions with other drivers of similar experience. You will learn new driving techniques, revitalize the skills that you have forgotten and enjoy a safe, fun day with fellow enthusiasts.
Next Track Day - April 12, 2019
The Fall CCC Track Day will be back at Summit Point on Friday, April 12, 2019. We are already planning the day with the return of the “hot lap” competition, “who will win the courteous driver award” and of course the “Sarli”.

Registration ends in a month on April 12, 2019 11:59 PM EDT

Join us for the 2019 Spring CCC Track Day at Summit Point. The confirmed date is April 12, 2019. No change in the price of $275.00 per entrant.

The Event schedule will be posted shortly. The facility will be open from 5.00 pm on the 11th to those who have pre-registered through Motorsportreg.com. Those who have not pre-registered will not have access until 7.30 am on the 12th. We have attached the Tech' Reg's.

We are expecting another bumper attendance especially with the NASA event the same weekend. All the fun activities that you have come to expect at a CCC Track Day will return: the "Hot Lap" competition, the go-kart time trial in the paddock, fun prizes and of course the infamous CCC BBQ.

Speaking of our fun prizes that you all clamour to win. We welcome more of the individual hand made trophies rather than a store bought trophy. Just like the "Sarli", we are inviting anyone to donate a trophy of his/her design. Wayne Nicolette of XIBITZ and my local, Gina's, are each donating a trophy, the latter being a beer pull suitably mounted (comes with a six pack). Use your imagination. It must be mounted on a block of wood, with your name on one side or even on the trophy. And a small donation to the Annapolis Trust should accompany it. Great advertising and talking point. We need eight.

For those who have not attended a CCC Track Day; take a look at this video:

If you need to insure your car for the day, we have made arrangements that you can obtain insurance from Lockton Motor Sports. You can either call 866-582-4957 or by the following link: https://locktonmotorsports.com/

Should you want to rent a car for the day, then please contact Bret de Pedro at Bret@rpperformanceracing.com or call 304-728-6749

Also follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/colonialchallenge

We are working on some new events and maybe a automotive sponsor. We are still looking for sponsors; for those of you who do not want to be a full sponsor, but would like to make a donation of any amount to support the two 2019 Annapolis Trust scholarship awardees, you can make a donation directly to the Annapolis Trust via this link: http://www.annapolistrust.org/donate

Sponsorship inquiries should be addressed to Crispin Etherington at cabe@ashbournedevelopments.com.

Interesting, but wondering about the "Driver's and Passenger's seat must provide identical protection, including seat belts and roll bar padding" part.
For us Cobra owner, having a single roll bar on the driver, it seems that means we cannot participate? Or do you know if that's just in case we do have a passenger?

You can participate but will not be allowed to have an instructor in your car. However, they can accommodate you using a lead-follow format. If you want clarification, I suggest you email the Organizer, Crispin Etherington at cabe@ashbournedevelopments.com.
