2017 SPRING CRUISE

ONCE AGAIN VIC, I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE YOU'RE GETTING YOUR FORECASTS...

"IN-ACCUWEATHER" SAYS OTHERWISE:

Does anyone have room for a passenger and if so can I still get in the list?

Troy,
I have to bow out. Coming from Baltimore, the weather is too unpredictable throughout the day.

Sorry, we're out too Troy. Weather luray mid day and here afternoon. If you cancel today, see you next week.

Sorry we are out also, we started and truned around at the last few miles, I am sure it would have been fine, my copilot however. Thank you for setting it up though, maybe next time.
Thanks Jim and Julie Brewer

My compliments to both Larry and Troy! It was a touch and go for thunderstorms and rain in the beginning, but the dark clouds past to the northeast, leaving us alone with clear skies with some hazy clouds. It was a long ride, but still I enjoyed every moment cruizin' with a line of Cobras and the Star of the cruise, Bissell's Pantera. Driving through the mountains and hills of the Shenandoah valley was a really good call for this time of year, the crowds of traffic was less than expected. Our car's stay mostly together, and quickly reassembled our rolling convoy, the roads were in great shape, lots of twisty turns, a diverse of speed limits (legal and illegal!)
Just want to say thanks to a great cruise and hopefully do more soon!!
Dan

What a great day! The storm cells moved just north of us as Dan said. Our cruise route was unaffected. Those twisties up the mountain were a blast and the scenery was really pretty at every curve.
I enjoyed getting together with you all again. I hope this marks for more CACC events this spring/summer. O0
Let's see some pics!
Hey Vic, your attempt to jinxing the forecast didn't work. :moon:

Thanks to Larry ... I got a chance to ride. Thanks to Troy and Larry setting up this great trip and to all for the inspiration to get back in the garage and finish mine.

Hey Vic, your attempt to jinxing the forecast didn't work. :moon:

It was Pappy that jinxed you. I was just the messenger, so don't shoot me. You only didn't get rained on because he redeemed himself by riding in an enclosed car. The Pantera provided the necessary force field to keep the rain clouds away. :)
